One chapter into this book, plus a perusal of the other chapters, was all it took to clear my shelf and focus my efforts on learning from this book and its online companion materials. It has it all, and it explains it all in a way us non-textbook people can both understand and get excited about studying. Yeah that's right - this book will make you WANT to learn structural engineering.This book is for enterprising product designers, architects, or others interested in knowing how forces interact with structures and how creative thought can minimize effort and material while creating a structure that can withstand the forces applied to it. It is long and thorough so do not expect a light treatment. Buy with confidence and use for life.

About the Author
Michael Howard, born in Vancouver, BC, in 1946, began sculpting at the age of fifteen. He received his B.F.A. from Eastern Michigan University and his M.A. in Fine Arts from Columbia Pacific University. He has studied the work of Rudolf Steiner since 1969. For thirty years, Michael has made an independent study of Rudolf Steiner s sculpture and taught primarily in Waldorf schools and anthroposophic centers, both in Europe and North America. Since 1985, he has taught sculpture at Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, New York. He is the leader of the Visual Art Section of the Anthroposophical Society in North America.

It almost seems that Gann kept the secret of how to use these charts to himself for two reasons: these charts tell the real mysteries behind the market; and if other traders knew how to use these master charts, it might have hurt his trading. Also included in this book are many of the archived articles previously written in the Gann and Elliott Wave and Traders World magazine on the Square of Nine. These articles are included so you can get a different viewpoint from experts in the field. ...It is just like a professional athlete, he trains over and over again and when he is out on the field he doesn't have to think when he plays, it becomes automatic. About the Author
Dr. Will Wright is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at Colorado State University. Before joining the faculty at CSU-P in 1986, he taught at several universities including the University of California, Northwestern University, Wesleyan University, and the University of Arizona. Dr. Wright, who was formerly the chair of the sociology department, has written four major books The Wild West: The Mythical Cowboy and Social Theory, Sage Publications, 2001, Wild Knowledge: Science, Language, and Social Life in a Fragile Environment, University of Minnesota Press, 1992, The Social Logic of Health, (with new Introduction) Wesleyan University Press, 1994, (First edition: Rutgers University Press, 1982), Sixguns and Society: A Structural Study of the Western, University of California Press, 1975. Dr. Wright’s Sixguns and Society is widely considered a classic in its field and despite its publication over 30 years ago remains in print and in the library of every serious student of the Western movie.
