Never-mind the provocative title and ol' boy on the front cover. This is one of the most eyeopening and clarifying HISTORY books i have ever picked up. Very little in the book to dispute as it primarily focuses on Federal Legislation, SCOTUS decisions, large corporate and industry activities, and clearly documented historical events. There is no secret conspiracy being uncovered (which is what i expected when i picked it up) but rather a very clear and concise outline of our countries actions and policies that have created our current circumstances.

This is well written, informative read. I highly recommend this book. The author successfully lays to rest the myth that White America became wealthy by their entrepreneurial spirit, and hard work, but instead, government and private enterprise harmonized to institute a series of "affirmative action" initiatives which gave white people exclusive material advantages that have nothing to do with merit or hard work ( while at the same time advancement for African Americans progress was aggressively, and oftentimes, violently sabotaged).A must have for your personal library!

This was a very good book to read for a historical perspective on how Africans Americans have been exploited and disenfranchised for so long. This book helped me understand why we are so far behind other groups. Its a must read for all African Americans especially young black men.

As I read the book I did notice some very angry feelings by the author . I can verify most statements and taking away His subjective anger concur the book should be read by the poor and disenfranchised they need to understand that we will never see a savior we need to save ourselves.

Good book with a lot of history and information which they do not teach in public school system. I recommend this book for anyone who want to learn about the hidden history of Amerikka. A lot of the information was repeated over but besides that overall it was a good read.

There are almost no sources listed directly in the book. This is atypical problem in books of this nature. Their intended audience is not intellectuals or PhD sociologists but, average laymen so many grueling details are left out.The various "articles" are not arranged chronologically but that isn't necessary for a history book if the overall message is clear like the one this book shares with many others.

You cannot argue with the facts it is evident why this information is omitted when teaching his-story in the school systems!!!!

A must read for everyone. Common known facts put in context to reveal the elephant in the room! No matter who you are, it's information worth knowing.

The development of French Basse Dance can be traced through five main phases from c. 1445 to the end of the sixteenth century. There are indeed gaps in this chronicle, but no major hiatus at the beginning of the sixteenth century to match that seen in the musical evidence. We believe it is more than time to bring all the relevant documents together and so to look at Basse Dance as a whole.

Basse Dance of France and neighboring countries during the 15th and 16th
century is known from 17 contemporary documents containing choreographies and
sometimes other technical details. All of them are presented here, to provide
the first single-volume reference to Basse Dance. Each document is transcribed
and supplied with a bibliography, introduction, translation and commentary, and
a statistical summary of the composition of its choreographies. The emphasis
is on the dance itself rather than the accompanying music, which has been
studied extensively by musicologists. The names of all dances descibed or

About the Author
David Raoul Wilson October 30, 1932 - August 6, 2006 David Wilson had three highly distinguished careers, as Roman archaeologist, air-photographer and, finally, as dance historian. In the first, he worked with Professor Sir Ian Richmond preparing a new edition of R. G. Collingwood s classic The Archaeology of Roman Britain (1930). In the second, he joined Kenneth St Joseph at the Cambridge University Committee for Aerial Photography where he established the National Association of Aerial Photographic Libraries. Here his prime publication was Air Photo Interpretation for Archaeologists (1982, 2000). Marriage to Elizabeth Wallwork in 1980 brought him into contact with historical dance and, with typical enthusiasm, he turned his mind to research in this fascinating topic. He was soon an active member of the Early Dance Circle (EDC) and the Dolmetsch Historical Dance Society. David was instrumental in setting up EDC s National Resource Centre for Historical Dance and catalogued their substantial archive library. As a dance historian, he published extensively, particularly transcriptions and analyses of original 15th-century texts, which, yet again, gained him a world-wide reputation. In 2006, the EDC awarded him the Peggy Dixon Trophy for outstanding service to historical dance. Sadly, he did not live to see the publication of this his final magnum opus.
