I used several Adobe Classroom in a book's during my early studies as a designer in school. I always hated them because it never got to the point just drawn out lessons but with no real work or content.The books can be useful for beginners/someone who has never used an Adobe program..advance designers not so much, it can be a complete bore and overdrawn, to say the least ..a lot of unnecessary verbiage..you literally get 3-5 pages on each lesson telling you how to save your document or name your layers or explaining basic stuff like “this is how you draw a circle selecting the shape tool in the toolbar” or “this is how you select the type tool".. like Really?!! Anyone who uses Adobe knows the tools are relatively the same across each platform ..yes some do have special tools but drawn out explanations on how to use the type tool or how to create a square selecting the shape tool are not necessary.Most of the tools and menus are self-explanatory and takes away from the lesson..once you finally read through and get to the lesson it’s drawn out to an additional 5 pages of something simple like how you place an image on the stage and nothing much beyond that.Honestly, I learned way more watching online tutorials via other websites for FREE than reading through this book in a short amount of time compared to the time it takes me to get through this book.Disappointed...

Even though I knew most of the basics of the software, I wanted to really dig in and find out the recommended procedures for things. It was a great support tool and refresher. The only setback I had was that I never got the same results as the book for the IK bones section, which is what I really got it for. To learn the puppet procedures. But, outside of that it's clear, concise and easy to follow.

good book, didn't know much about animation but the book made it easier but still takes over and over again sometimes

The book was rough looking but it got the job done.

The lessons is the book helps learn the mechanics of how to use Animate. I reduce it by one star because I could not open the lessons for Chapter 3. Highly recommended.

Bought this as a supplement to the book required for my class. I have learned more by reading this and doing the exercises on my own than I have from the required text. I like the pacing and way that the various chapters are split subject wise. Would recommend to anyone trying to learn Animate.

The heart of this change would be a school, unlike any in the world. It would be full of passion, creativity, energy, and an unparalleled freedom to do whatever it took to lead every child to success. The parents and teachers of this school would forge a true partnership with the intent of providing the best learning environment possible.

I am proud to say that dream—the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, is now a reality. We welcome educators from all over the world to visit and learn from our methods and techniques so that they may take them back to their schools. I am still teaching, every day, and I feel honored to have hosted more than 10,000 educators in my classroom. John Horswill is a member of IBM's CICS User Technololgy team at IBM in Hursley Park, U.K. He has been involved in delivering information on various platforms, including OS/390, AIX, Solaris, Digital Unix, HP, and Windows NT, for the past 11 years. Before joining IBM, he worked in Further Education in England for many years. He graduated from London University and completed an M.Sc. in Applied Cell Science and Virology at Brunel University before turning his attention to computing. If you can't find him in his office or working from home, he is probably in his garden or hopefully "at the top of a mountain on a clear day."
